Putin says Russia ready to restart economic cooperation with Kiev

MOSCOW, Oct 14 (PRIME) -- Russia is ready to resume full-scale economic cooperation with Ukraine, President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday.

"We are ready to resume full-scale cooperation with Ukraine anytime. The level and depth of cooperation between our facilities has been very deep and this brought about mutual benefit, kept jobs, ensured good salaries. We are ready to resume full-scale cooperation with the Ukrainian partners," Putin said.

Putin supported the idea of Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin to restart of supplies from several Ukrainian facilities. "Let's see this as the first goodwill gesture from our side," Putin said.

Mishustin said that he hopes that Ukraine will respond to the Russian measure by allowing exports of  two Russian companies.
